West Monroe is a loving, praying and praising church with a God given purpose to “Honor God, Edify (build up) the Body of Christ, and Evangelize a World in Need of a Savior.” We express that purpose through a multitude of ministries.

As the Body of Christ, we seek to fulfill God’s Great Commandment in Matthew 22,

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and  with all your mind”…and… “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

We do so by fulfilling the Great Commission found in Matthew 28 to

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”

West Monroe Baptist is an autonomous Baptist Church working in Cooperation with the Southern Baptist Convention, the Baptist Convention of North Carolina and the Union Baptist Association for the advancement of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We affirm the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 as a confession of statements of faith regarding Biblical doctrines of truth found in Scriptures.
