Pastor Eric joined the West Monroe Baptist Family as Pastor in 2015. Born and raised in East Tennessee, he married his high school sweetheart, Tracy, in 1993 and they have two children, Elias and Erin.
Before being called into the ministry, Eric served in the U.S. Army as a Flight Medic and as a civilian he worked underwater as a Commercial Diver. He graduated from East Tennessee State University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2007 with a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages and a Certification in Biblical Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2010.
The Nixon family has ministered to God’s churches in Tennessee, Texas, South Carolina and North Carolina.
